architects inductedThe month is usually our spring board for the PPT and PPE. It is dedicated to orientation seminars, beginning form the 19th february, with probationers /prospectives exam candidate and architecture school graduate. Participants ar introduced to the training scheme, the logbook, the PPE syllabus and what to look out for during the practical training period.

The council consider you a significant partner to the practical training programme, and kindly requests you to support us by taking on mentorship assignments when approached by probationer.


Registration of Technicians

February also introduce a major move in the registration and regulation of technicians, beginning form the 18th . This programme is under the National Board of Control for Technicians and Draughtsmen (NBOC), set up to regulate the practice of technicians.

Advocacy Drive:

We will also roll out publications and awareness creation messages to the general public as part of our advocacy drive to the visibility theme.

PPE: You may recall that from the 2014 the PPE calendar changed from november to february, in response to suggestions from the architectural fraternity. This year's exams were held on 25th and 26th february. We wish all 89 probationers out of 94 registered, who took the exams everygood success.

Registration of Probationers:

All architecture school graduate are required to enroll with the ARC as probationers, upon completion of their academic course. This is to enable the council cater for all categories within the practice.
